Piscadera Area

The area of Piscadera is one of Curacao's top touristic destinations. Located at some 10 minutes driving from the airport, the bay of piscadera offers a unique Caribbean flavor and Dutch charm. Major hotels, beach resorts and restaurants are located in the area. Still the full potential of the Piscadera Bay is far from being reached. An ambitious master plan including a boulevard in front of the beach had been drafted by the government entity in charge of developing this area. This development plan, which will be executed in the next coming years, will make the Piscadera Bay area the #1 touristic area of the Curacao island

Marriott & Hilton Beach Resorts, Hooks Hut Beach Bar & Restaurant, Sjalotte French Restaurant, Tempo Doloe Indonesian Restaurant, Public Beaches, Rifort Mall, Bistro Le Clochard Restaurant, Soprano's Piano Bar, etc. are some of the ammenties located at the area either at walking distance or very short driving from our La Estancia Luxury Penthouse

At some 5 min. driving from the Piscadera area you wil find the new Riffort Shopping Mall. Built in 1828, Rif Fort was meant to defend the outer section of Willemstad's Otrobanda district. The old fortress lies just between the ship terminal and the town square (right next to Emma Bridge in the new part of town). Riffort Village has replaced the ancient fortress with art galleries, cafes, a movie theather, restaurants, piano bars, and shops. The mall has a very nice atmosphere You can climb the stairs to the top of the fort for great views of Curacao.

BCBG, Armany Exchange, Furla, Montblanc, etc. are some of the well known brands that have open branches at Riffort Shopping Mall.

Curacao's restaurants run the range from elegant dining to roadside kiosks, with just about everything in between. Many nice restaurants have opened in Curacao during last 4 to 5 years. Some of them are located at the Piscadera area

Our rank of Curacao's best restaurants includes Bistro La Clochard at Riffort Shopping Mall. You have to reserve a night during your stay in Curacao to come to this place. Food is excellent and the view is just spectacular. The restaurant has two environments: an air conditioned indoor environment beautifully decorated or just the open terrace that overlooks the entrance to the Santa Anna Bay.

Bistro Le Clochard offer daily happy hours from 5 to 6 pm. If you are lucky you can enjoy a glass of wine while a major cruise ship is entering the Santa Anna harbor at just few meters from your table.!!
